While in Puerto Rico, WMS students will be visiting Casa de los Ninos in Fajardo, where they will be teaching English to the school’s youngest students and working collaboratively on a land project with the middle school students at the school. The class will be staying at Camp Elisa Colberg, a Girl Scout camp located right in El Yunque, Puerto Rico’s sub-tropical rain forest. While in Puerto Rico, we will spend two days planting trees to ward off invasive species. During the trip we will also make time to explore Old San Juan and the island’s beautiful tropical scenery.
