seeds ofhope

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 17,  2017

Our 8th Graders have organized an outreach project—“Semillas de Esperanza” or “Seeds of Hope”  to help a fellow Montessori School in Puerto Rico that was devastated by Hurricane Maria. They are asking classmates and parents for donations of seed packets that will be sent to the “Casa de los Niños” Montessori school in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. These seeds will be planted by their Middle School students to replace what they lost during the storm as a part of the Erd Kinder program. WMS 8th graders have volunteered at “Casa de los Niños” in the past.

If anyone happens to have extra seed packets that they’d like to donate, feel free to drop by the Middle School as there are decorated seed collection boxes in various Advisor rooms.
