Parent and daughter

Parents who wish to become involved in the WMS community can volunteer their time and talent through the Parents Association.

In January of 2008, a task force was created to study how to strengthen parents’ connection to WMS.

Our goals:

1) Parent Connection
2) Effective communication (school to parents & parents to school)
3) Increased parent enthusiasm for school activities
4) Increased trust and loyalty
-believing WMS puts child’s best interest first,
-appreciating that WMS provides a uniquely valuable form of education

Our task force divided this project into 3 categories:

Part 1 - A parent survey
Part 2 – Information from other schools
Part 3 – Discussions on ways to improve existing events and hopefully increase parents’ enthusiasm and loyalty
