PA Outreach: Clothing Drive - Thanks!

PARENTS ASSOCIATION OUTREACH: CLOTHING DRIVE 11/2-11/6

The PA Outreach team took coats to New Milford social services, adult and children's clothes to Waterbury Youth Services, and children's clothes to Family Services of Greater Waterbury. So a heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated. It was a very generous amount and you have made a big difference in someone's daily life. A special thanks to Liz Devos for donating the items from her beautiful children's store, Three Monkeys and Me, in Kent!

Family Services runs a highly praised program for mothers who have come out of abusive relationships and children of abuse. The director of the children's program said, "The kids really have nothing and now they come into school in summer clothes even in this cold weather." So they wanted to let us know how much the children will appreciate these new clothes.

If at any point during the year you have any other children's clothes to donate, just alert me, Carolina Reid, or anyone on Outreach and we will arrange another drop off.  Otherwise, we will do a spring drive for clothes in April.
