Annie Gilpin Tribute

Following the highly successful performance of Pirates of Penzance by the eighth grade class, present parents, past parents and students celebrated Annie Gilpin's eight year tenure as Middle School play director.  Pat Werner said "Annie, you have given our students experiences that they will remember for the rest of their lives.  Your dramatic vision, humor, and creativity are unique and very much appreciated."  Annie was presented with a director's chair with "Annie, with love from WMS" inscribed on it.  Next year, she will focus on her own acting career, although we hope to see her from time to time, perhaps continuing the Shakespeare performance in Upper Elementary.
