WMS community will miss Peggy Boll (1933-2009)

Peggy came to WMS when her daughters, Martha and Kendall, began as students in 1978.  In 1981 she joined the staff as a Lower School assistant and later, after completing her Montessori teacher education, she became a head teacher.  After fifteen years, she retired, but continued her involvement in our classes as a volunteer, especially in Martha's Lower Elementary classroom.  

Peggy died peacefully several weeks ago of complications of emphysema with her family by her side.  A remembrance of her life was held on Saturday, March 28th.

The Lendl family has named a classroom after Peggy signified with the following words:  In honor of  Peggy Boll who always embodied the concept of "following the child" and let each student's individuality bloom.
