MS Community Service Day - April 2010

Each fall and spring, the Middle School students participate in community service projects. The purpose is to serve and connect with the larger community.

Serving others fosters a sense of responsibility and power to make a difference in the world, and because we believe strongly in the value of this work, the middle school community has many service projects over the course of the year including two Community Service Days.  Twice a year the morning is set aside to help others.  Each advisor group makes plans and works with another community for the morning.

Wednesday, April 14th is MS Community Service Day.  Students will be out in the community helping in many ways.  Some students will be out cleaning Bantam Lake and some students will be at Children's Community School in Waterbury, CT, helping where needed.
