Hero's Journey Benefit Concert - 8:00pm

Date: 06/05/2010

For my 7th grade Hero’s Journey project I wanted to do something that would help us begin to fix some of the damage we have done to our planet and to protect the life that is on it. I became interested in the Center for Biological Diversity last year when my science teacher told the class about the Center’s petition to save the Amargosa toad.

I love music and follow a lot of independent bands. I thought if I could organize a benefit concert to raise money for the Center it would let people know about the good work that the Center does and help them with a donation. I knew Barefoot Truth was very active promoting environmental causes and thought that they just might want to help me out– and they did!

This is going to be a really great concert and the WMS Auditorium is going to be a fantastic place to see them. They go on to play Infinity Hall the following week but seeing them here will give everyone a much better experience.

Please help support my cause and see an awesome band at the sametime. Doors open at 7:30pm.  Tickets are $20 and all the profits will go to the Center. Ask at the front desk or call me at (860) 482-1759 for tickets. THANKS! Conor Ryan
