WMS Presents An Evening with Susan Saint James

On Saturday April 14, the Washington Montessori School presented "An Evening with Susan Saint James.” This special event was generously sponsored by law firm Cramer & Anderson LLP and Union Savings Bank.

During this special evening with the Emmy-award winning actress, Susan shared highlights from her long career.  Besides being known as the star of the 1980’s comedy series “Kate and Allie,” Susan is probably best known for her role as Rock Hudson’s wife in “McMillan and Wife.”  She also acted in several motion pictures, including the 1979 vampire spoof “Love at First Bite.”  Her body of work earned her a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2008. 

Susan is also a long-time Litchfield resident and an active philanthropist who has given much time and effort towards the Special Olympics.  Three of her five children attended Washington Montessori School.
