2013 Ski Program

Laura Mashburn has graciously taken over organizing the Friday night ski program for Washington Montessori School at Mohawk Ski Area in Cornwall. This program is not a school-run program. It is a program that a parent has put together for the last 16 years.

The program runs for 6 consecutive Fridays beginning January 4, 2013. Because we are a long-standing group, prices for lift tickets, equipment rentals and lessons are discounted. Registration and payment is due by November 13.

Please download the Reservation Form and Rental Agreement and return to the Mashburn mailbox with a check made out to Washington Montessori School or pay online by visiting our Secure Online Payment Site.

Payment is non-refundable once reservations have been made, as per Mohawk policy. The minimum age for ski lessons is 6 and for snowboarding it is 8. There are no exceptions to this rule.

Additional Information

  1. Program runs 6 consecutive Fridays. If you are unable to attend any week, there is no make-up.
  2. There are no refunds after November 13, 2012
  3. Cancellations are determined by the group leader, not by Mohawk Mountain. If the mountain is closed, we will be given a make-up day.
  4. Transportation is not provided. It is the parents' responsibility to transport children to and from the mountain.
  5. Parental supervision is required. Please make sure there is an adult present to care for your child in case of an emergency, to pick up from lessons and to pick up when it is time to leave.
  6. If school is cancelled, there is no skiing that night. We will add an extra week to the program.
