WEDNESDAY, APRIL 24—FRIDAY, APRIL 27, 2018
The seventh grade will leave for its class trip to Boston on Wednesday April 24. The class will leave from school at 8:30 a.m. and head off to the Boston Museum of Science. They will then take the T to Faneuil Hall for dinner, and then to Lexington Montessori School where they will end the day with a community meeting, some quiet activities, and sleep. On Thursday, students will wake up, make breakfast, pack their lunches, and drive to the Tsongas Industrial History Center in Lowell for a special program, “Power to Production.” In the afternoon, they’ll visit Walden Pond where they will participate in a program on civil disobedience and social activism. Afterward, they will have dinner out before returning to LMS for community meeting, quiet activities and sleep. When students wake up Friday morning, they will make breakfast, pack their lunches and head into Boston for a self-guided tour of the Black Heritage Trail before heading back home.
