UE Residency Performance

FRIDAY, 11.22.19

To kick off their winter-term research of Ancient Rome, our Upper Elementary students spent a week preparing performances from Ovid’s “Metamorphoses” under the leadership of artist and WMS past parent Dana Rohn. In addition to painting sets, creating costume accessories, props and jewelry, they also studied the poetic meter, Dactylic Hexameter, which Ovid used to write his epic works. See photos from the performance.
