It has been another great week at WMS with some better weather as the week progressed which made it easier for the students, and adults to enjoy the outdoors. In fact, I was able to get out and spend time with some 4th-year students who took me on a walk and showed me their forts. It was a little cold but it certainly didn’t seem to bother them.
Congratulations to all of the students, staff and parents for working hard to enable us to get through what is arguably the longest stretch of any school year—opening day to Thanksgiving. The collective commitment to being safe and allowing us to stay open for that stretch was admirable—thank you. The numbers are rising around us and we will continue to pay close attention.
I hope you all enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving week and are able to at least Zoom with friends and family that you can’t be with in person.
