We encourage parents to come for a visit early in their school search process, as spending time with us is the best way to understand the WMS difference. We recommend visiting in the morning in order to best see students during their regular work cycle, but we are flexible and willing to schedule visits at any time in order to meet each family’s needs and interests.
During your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to meet students, tour our campus, observe class, and speak with Laura Martin, Assistant Head for Enrollment. Schedule a Child Visit

Visits will take place in an empty classroom (no other children) with a teacher. They will last about 25 minutes. Children will have an opportunity to explore the classroom and engage in a developmentally appropriate lesson with the teacher.
6 – 9 years

Schedule a Child Visit

First visits are available after school and will take place in an empty classroom (no other children) with a teacher. They will last about 30 minutes. Children will have an opportunity to explore the classroom and engage in a developmentally-appropriate lesson with the teacher. Second visits are held the next morning (ideally, or shortly thereafter). Children will visit for 90 min to 2.5 hours in a classroom. They will have a chance to meet peers, engage in lessons and experience the flow of a morning work cycle.
9 – 11 years
Upper Elementary

Shadow mornings are held from 8:30 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. Your child will be paired with a same-aged peer (a 6th grader for current 5th graders) and will shadow them during their morning classes. They will have the opportunity to experience at least two academic classes and Advisor Group, meet other students and engage with teachers.
