Middle School To High School Placement

WMS provides guidance for students and their families regarding secondary school placement. The process is coordinated by the Head of School and Assistant Head for Enrollment and begins with two meetings during the spring of seventh grade and continues until decisions have been made the following spring. Our goal is to support families and students as they navigate the process of choosing a secondary school. We believe in a strong partnership and an individualized approach, and we focus on finding the best fit for each student. 

Past WMS graduates have attended a wide variety of independent and public schools. We have excellent relationships with local independent and public schools, who seek to enroll our students because of their strong academic preparation, their independence, and their positive contributions to their school communities. WMS graduates are prepared to do extremely well wherever they attend high school.
